After pull party; I will say the Green Monster team really know howto party ofter the pull. MANY cases of beer, some CC, loud stereo, thenRico & Fabian gave us a 5 minute plus drum roll on empty methanoldrums with cut up broom handles for drum sticks wonder what the janitorthought in the morning.
Trip to Hamburg and harbor; Sascha and i took a trip to Hamburg tosee the model trains, truly unbelievable. this file is pictures of ourtrip to Hamburg and of the Harbor.
Around Fuchtorf; This was an afternoon ride around fuchtorf withDirk driving, there are some pictures of the homes and a couplepictures of "castles" these are not going to be the castles we normallythink of, these are basically mansions.
Team shop & Pull Preparations; This is group of photos of theshop, track and area around the shop. The fields with plastic coveringthem is "white" asparagus. They grow the asparagus under the doublelayer of plastic, white on top, black underneath, then go out every dayor two and pull the plastic back and cut the asparagus, they peel theoutside of and cook it. The end product is like no asparagus you haveever tasted, tender & sweet. It is a big draw to the arearestaurants. There are several pictures of a narrow road. that is a"farm" road which I guess we would call a secondary road. That is whatall these roads look like. Just wide enough for one vehicle. Just tomake it more interesting there are many bicyclists on them and farmtractors. The water tank, they were watering the parking area, localfields, pit area, and track when I got there on Thursday so I am notsure when they started. Then they watered on Sunday morning also. Therewas ZERO dust on the track, both the leveling blades put significantamounts of water on the track during the pull. The bus that is wrappedadvertising the pull runs year around. Note the children with bicyclesthat have "tractor pull" signs on the back of them and rode them aroundtown. There are some pictures taken inside a radio station where HeinzJoseph (owner of Green Monster team) and Sascha did a radio interviewto play promoting the pull, one of several radio interviews.
Model Train file; this is a model train display in Hamburg, here is a introduction. Model Train Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PN_oDdGmKyA
